Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Listofer ("Listofer", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you use our e-commerce management platform. By using the service you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: your name, email address and password (stored hashed), plus optional profile and notification settings (for example a linked Telegram account).

Marketplace data: when you connect a marketplace account such as eBay, we sync the data needed to run your store — listings, inventory, orders (including buyer names, addresses and order details needed for fulfillment), buyer messages, offers, campaigns, feedback and account settings.

Content you provide: product information, images and files you upload, and the prompts and messages you send to the AI assistant.

Billing information: handled by our payment processor Stripe; we receive subscription and transaction status but never store full card numbers.

Usage and device data: log data, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, and product usage events used for security and to improve the service.

2. How We Use Information

To provide and operate the service: syncing and managing your marketplace data, publishing and revising listings at your direction, running your storefront, processing payments and credits, and providing support.

To provide AI features: we send the relevant product data, images and conversation context to the AI model providers we use in order to generate the content you request. We do not use your data to train our own general-purpose AI models.

To secure and improve the service: fraud and abuse prevention, debugging (including error monitoring), and understanding how features are used.

3. Buyer Data

Order and message data synced from your marketplace account includes personal information about your buyers. We process that data on your behalf so you can fulfill orders and respond to messages. As the seller, you are responsible for your own obligations to your buyers under applicable law.

4. How We Share Information

Service providers: hosting and infrastructure, payment processing (Stripe), AI model and image-generation providers, email delivery and error monitoring — each only receives what it needs to perform its function.

Marketplaces: actions you take in Listofer (publishing a listing, sending a message or offer) transmit the related data to the connected marketplace.

Legal: we may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety and security of Listofer, our users or the public.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

We use cookies and browser storage for authentication, session management and remembering your preferences (such as language and selected store).

When you create a Listofer account, you accept ads and product analytics measurement (including Meta and PostHog) as described in this Policy and our Terms, so we can understand product usage and measure advertising performance. You can withdraw that measurement anytime in Settings → Security. If you declined cookies on listofer.com before signing up, that Decline is respected and measurement stays off until you accept on the marketing site or otherwise grant consent.

On listofer.com (the marketing site), trackers run only after you accept the cookie banner. The app does not show a separate accept banner for signed-in users; withdrawal is available in Settings.

6. Data Retention

We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is legally required.

7. Security

We protect your information with measures including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, scoped access controls and audit logging. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

You can access and update your account information in the product, and you can request a copy or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.

California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA; you have the right to know, correct and delete personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

Users in the EEA/UK: we process personal data to perform our contract with you, for legitimate interests (such as security and service improvement), and with your consent where required. You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to complain to your supervisory authority.

9. International Transfers

We are based in the United States, and your information is processed there and in the countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

10. Children

The service is intended for business use and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If a change is material we will provide reasonable notice. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest revision.
